BRIEF DESCRIPTION

           The Directorate of Industry is one of the two non-commercial service rendering organization under the Ministry of Industry (1).

FUNCTION

           Its main function is to co-ordinate and cooperate with all the organizations under the Ministry, so that the production plans, projects etc are achieved.
           It also communicates with departments under other Ministries. It acts as the focal point of the Ministry.

ORGANIZATION
         
           It is headed by the Director General and the six Directors manage the six different sections.
