YANGON, 8 June Minister for
industry-1 U Aung Thaung together with
Director-General of Myanmar Foodstuff
Industries U Thaik Tun, Director-General
and Maintenance Industries U Aye Mok
inspected construction of 50-ton brown
paper plant and 50-ton CTMP pulp factory
near Yeni NO 2 paper mill on 5 June. He
looked into installation of machines,
Dryer, pulp rolling machines, cutting
machines, control room, and presented
basket of fruits to foreign technicians.
Upon completion, the project can produce
80 tons of brown paper a day and 50 tons
of newsprint a day. Next, he proceeded
to Zeyawady sugar mill where he
inspected repair of machines for
2008-2009 sugarcane season and spare
parts invented by the factory. He gave
instructions to upgrading of spare parts
for durable use. Next, he went to
Itonkwin industrial crop sugarcane
plantations in Kyauktaga Township Bago
Division and inspected cultivation of a
total of 1093 arces of Sinshweli and
hiprisugarcane and gave instructions.
